What is neurodiversity?

The neurodiversity movement is a human rights movement and is based on the premise that variations in neurological functioning are valuable rather than pathological.

Do you accept insurance?

We don't accept insurance but we're happy to provide you with a superbill to use any out of network benefits your insurance plan covers.

Can you offer further support if I need it?

Our focus at Calliope is providing culturally competent diagnostic assessments, but we’re happy to help connect you with our trusted partners and other resources.​​​​​​​

Are evaluations available in my state?

Calliope currently provides diagnostic services in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Delaware, DC, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Michigan and Rhode Island are coming soon! We're constantly expanding, but if your state isn't on the list, send us a message.​​​​​​​

How much does the assessment cost?

The assessment is $1495 and can be paid by credit card, HSA, or FSA. An optional feedback session is offered for $249.​​​​​​​

Do you use the ADOS-2?

No. We use several measures but rely on the MIGDAS-2 to establish an individualized behavioral profile descriptive of the singular presentation of autism.
